Your recording.
Your choice.

Your account

Anyone can browse the examples. To make a wish, sign in through auth.johnteasdale.com. We use your account ID, name and verified email to keep your films private. Your encrypted sign-in cookie lasts up to 24 hours. Sign out on shared devices.

Before you submit

The camera opens only when you ask. Your original five-second recording and its reference frame remain in your browser. The app saves one local draft so you can recover it after a reload; it will restore that draft for 24 hours. Expired drafts are removed on your next visit.

“Discard recording from this device” deletes that local draft. Browser storage can also be cleared through your browser settings. A downloaded file stays wherever you saved it.

Rehearsals and examples

Examples are fictional, curated scenes in film or illustration. Rehearsal editing combines your clip with those existing scenes on your device. It does not send your face to an AI service or generate a personalized consequence.

When you transcribe a recording

If transcription is connected, “Transcribe my recording” sends a short audio-only copy to fal. The video stays in your browser. You can cancel, type your own words, and correct the transcript before making a wish. Transcript access expires after one hour; this app does not store the audio copy. The provider receives it at an unlisted file URL, with a requested one-hour expiry. Anyone with that URL could access it until it expires; cancellation cannot recall a copy already sent to the provider.

When you generate a film

Personalized generation, when connected, requires a separate consent control. It sends your written wish and a camera reference frame to fal and its model providers to plan and render your consequence. The generated image, video and an unchanged audio-only copy of its soundtrack are also sent for quality review. The soundtrack copy has a requested one-hour provider expiry. Your original video stays on your device.

Generated media may be accessible through unlisted provider URLs and is subject to fal’s privacy practices. This app stores its own copy in a private Cloudflare media vault. Only your signed-in account can retrieve that copy, and access expires after 24 hours. Expired files in this app are removed on your next vault access. Expiration does not promise immediate deletion from an external provider.

Withdrawing a wish stops further work here and asks the provider to cancel. Work already in progress may finish and may still incur provider charges. Withdrawing also removes the app’s reference and finished-video files for that wish.

Sharing is deliberate

Nothing is posted automatically. Downloading saves a file; the Share button opens your device’s sharing controls when available. The examples are public; your films are private. All generated outcomes are fictional, not predictions.
